Customer relationship
Customers have long been thought to begrudgingly purchase life insurance protection, either as a rite of passage or something an agent or other perceived authority has advised them to do. The nurturing of a customer relationship is not something that has been required of the carrier, as it has traditionally sat with agents working to earn their commission.
