Montoux is looking for a motivated, analytical and business-minded Data Scientist to join our New York team.

Data Scientist is a a diverse role, which offers autonomy, responsibility and flexibility:

  • Drive development of standard processes to determine price elasticity for our customers

  • Work collaboratively with the product/actuarial team and our customers to create elegant solutions to help improve profitability and customer retention

  • Create compelling stories and reports that solve problems for our customers

  • Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytical systems

  • Be the expert at Montoux on the adoption of new technologies such as AI and ML that will help to deliver better outcomes through the use of data

  • Help to plan and develop the machine learning aspects of our product offerings following a SCRUM product development framework

  • Report to the Lead Actuary and Product Owner for the US

Your skills and experience

  • Prior experience building predictive models in a data science role

  • Experience with sales forecasting is a plus
